Do I need to install an RPS with my room monitors?

An RPS (also known as a snubber or pressure pick up) is designed to dampen pressure concussions caused when someone is walking by, opening or closing a door, or if an oscillating fan is blowing momentarily in the area, for example.

The RPS is also used to null out intermittent spikes in pressure. If the spike in pressure does not return to normal, the sensor will show the pressure change with a timing lag.
