Will a VFD in line with my power meter affect my power monitoring data?

Possibly. If the CT and Voltage references are being fed to the power meter after the VFD, your data will be affected. You need to be sure the current and voltage references are being sent to the power meter from before the VFD.

The Setra Power Meter is designed to measure 50/60Hz line power and energy. It cannot measure VFD accurately enough due to the VFDs high frequency harmonic contents and noise. 

*If the VFD and power meter use the same line voltage, place VFD downstream rather than upstream. It is recommended to use separate wires to connect power to VFD/VFD controller.
