Is it possible to put the MCAL in Monitor Mode?

It is possible to either put the MCAL into “monitor” mode and source the pressure from a separate pressure generator, OR use the MCAL/MCPM to generate and read the pressure while sending the pressure to a separate precision pressure standard for accuracy calculations. We have done it both ways here. I can tell you the pressure control stability on the MCAL is better than most low pressure calibration systems, and we have had better luck using the MCAL as the source when testing lower pressure ranges. This would assume the company doing the certification had a precision pressure standard that could run in “monitor” mode.
