What's the difference between compensated temperature range, operating temperature range, and storage temperature range?
Compensated Range: This is the range of temperature that Setra is required to meet its’ specification. The unit must be in a fixed stable temperature environment with the unit saturated at that temperature
Operating Temperature: Within this temperature range, a change in pressure will be indicated but the accuracy is not maintained.
Storage Temperature: The transducer while in this range may/may not turn off the electronics.
The range of temperature that Setra is responsible for maintaining the accuracy specifications.
The unit temperature must be saturated throughout the unit and stable.
This range of temperature requires the Setra’s product will respond to a pressure change but the accuracy is no longer maintained.
If the transducer is exposed to the extremes of the range and returns to the OPERATING range, the transducer will respond again. While in the extremes of this range, the transducer may not respond to a pressure change.
