I have power wired to Vin1, but my SETRA POWER METER (SPM) won’t power up.

If you are using single phase power wired to L1 and N, you need to add a jumper between L2 and N: 

2wire 1phase is the typical 120 vAC house wiring. The conductors are BLACK = hot, WHITE = neutral, and GREEN = ground.  When wiring the power meter BLACK  goes on L1 and WHITE on Neutral. 

In order to power the meter L1 & L2 must both be energized.

Place a jumper from Neutral to L2, this will power L1 & L2 with 120 vAC.
